Dear Students & Parents August 16, 2021 This year’s major change is that school will begin at 7:25 and end at 2:24. We will also be returning to the seven period rotating schedule. For the first two weeks of school students will attend all seven periods. Beginning the week of September 13 Viking Block will begin. Parents, we ask that you continue to support your student and Mascenic Regional High School by reinforcing the importance of education and playing an active role in your student’s educational life. The efforts your student makes in the classes offered here will very likely set lifelong habits of work, study, organization, punctuality, and attainable goal setting. Our combined efforts will assure your student’s success in all these areas. Please feel free to contact me any time with concerns. Communication and an effective and positive home-school partnership are important in creating a successful relationship between the school and the family. Please review some important dates for the start of the school year. August 30th from 10:00-12:00 Freshman/New Student Orientation. Transportation will not be provided. August 31st First day of school. Students will report directly to their first period class. September 14th Open House from 6:00pm – 7:15pm Sincerely, John Barth Principal

Attention Underclassman! Because we are setting up for graduation tomorrow (6/4/21): -Student drivers will need to park either in the very last parking lot row (facing the road) or around the side of the building. -All students will be dismissed out the side door to the school. -Buses will be parked around the back of the school building and students will load them from there. -Student drivers will need to BE PATIENT and let the buses have the right of way, if parked in the side lot. -Parent pick ups may still occur in the front lot but may not obstruct the graduation set up and should be aware of buses approaching from the back of the building.
