Dear Parent/Guardian,
Your child may have been exposed by a staff member who tested positive for COVID-19. Our protocol requires a fourteen day period of self-monitoring for symptoms from the last date of exposure. Our data indicates that the last date of potential exposure would have occurred on was 12/14/21. As long as your child is symptom free, they may continue to attend all school activities. Quarantine is not required unless a person is actively COVID positive or lives in the same household as an actively COVID positive individual and is unvaccinated. Proof of vaccination status is needed to confirm.
We recognize and understand that hearing of a positive COVID-19 case within our building is concerning and may cause many of us to want to ask more questions and seek additional information. While we stand committed to the safety and well being of all staff and students, please understand that we are also obligated to protect the privacy of all staff and students including any positive individuals. Please call your school nurse with any further questions.
Sincerely,
John J. Barth
Principal

Dear Parent/Guardian 11/5/21
Due to the rising number of positive Covid-19 cases at the high school it is recommended that you monitor your child's health by going on the district Website and under the Health & Wellness tab go to Covid-19 Protocols and click on the Self-Observation guide and follow the recommendations. Please do not send your child to school if they have symptoms and alert the school nurse of your child's symptoms or if your child is being tested.
Sincerely,
John Barth
