"Congratulations to Gabe Medolo, Zack Wilson and Elsa Rogers who represented the Mascenic Chess Team at the State Team and Individual Championships on Saturday in Hooksett. They brought home the first place trophy for highest scoring team in the high school division! Gabe Medolo brought home the 5th place trophy in the individual championships."

Nine Mascenic students had the opportunity to learn about Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities in our area at the Keene State College CTE Fair on March 29th. Students had the opportunity to sample technical careers and participate in two mini-courses in fields like Education, Environmental Studies, Nursing, Film Studies, Product Design, and Architecture. Our students were clearly excited by these opportunities and enjoyed meeting Keene State students, touring the campus, and eating lunch in the dining commons. Mascenic students are able to take CTE courses at our partner schools, Conval and Conant.

Congratulations to the Mascenics Spirit Team who took second in the Division III State Championships. They have now qualified for the New England Championships which will take place March 19th in Worcester Mass.

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Your child may have been exposed by a staff member or student who tested positive for COVID-19. Our protocol requires a fourteen day period of self-monitoring for symptoms from the last date of exposure. Our data indicates that the last date of potential exposure would have occurred on 1/6/22 . As long as your child is symptom free, they may continue to attend all school activities. Quarantine is not required unless a person is actively COVID positive or lives in the same household as an actively COVID positive individual and is unvaccinated. Proof of vaccination status is needed to confirm.
We recognize and understand that hearing of a positive COVID-19 case within our building is concerning and may cause many of us to want to ask more questions and seek additional information. While we stand committed to the safety and well being of all staff and students, please understand that we are also obligated to protect the privacy of all staff and students including any positive individuals. Please call your school nurse with any further questions.
Sincerely,
John J. Barth

Due to the rising number of positive Covid-19 cases at the high school it is recommended that you monitor your child's health by going on the district Website and under the Health & Wellness tab go to Covid-19 Protocols and click on the Self-Observation guide and follow the recommendations. Please do not send your child to school if they have symptoms and alert the school nurse of your child's symptoms or if your child is being tested.
