More vaccination info - · The confirmation e-mail states parents need to be present. Do parents need to be present for school based clinics? o For school-based clinics parents DO NOT need to be present. I know it is a little confusing; however, we couldn’t get the VINI language changed before they launched these private clinics. For all school COVID-19 vaccination clinics parents DO NOT need to be there as long as they have completed the consent in VINI which is simply typing your name in a consent statement for your minor to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. · What ID does my student need? o Student ID is great – verbal self-identification is okay if no student ID – when we look up the vaccine recipients in VINI we will confirm other information like date of birth and address. Parents do not need to be present so we will be all set with youth confirming other registration details for us (as long as parents completed the VINI parental consent online).
