We are busy getting our facilities ready for the start of school! This week concrete work at BMS, landscaping and lining the parking lots at MRHS! Next week work begins on the plumbing at HHES!

Friendly reminder for students and parents (grades 5-12)that there is a grief support group at MRHS tomorrow, July 30th, from 10:00-12:00 in the library. We will have some furry visitors from Cold Springs along with some activities for students to engage in!

We wanted to thank the Saint Vincent DePaul Food Pantry for their generosity!

We are incredibly grateful for their donation of food for our students attending the Summer Program. These items will not only support our lessons on nutrition and food, but will also go home with our students to share with their families. 💛🍎🥕🥫

Isaac Phillips, a beloved member of our Mascenic community, fought bravely against cancer for several years. Last night, he peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones. Though Isaac's battle was unimaginably hard, and his time on this earth was far too short, his illness did not win. It never touched his light, his sense of humor, his laughter, or the love he gave and received. In every interaction, he showed us what true strength looks like. Death may have taken the body, but it could never claim his spirit and in that, it had no victory.

In the days ahead, we recognize that this news may bring up a variety of emotions for those within our community. We are finalizing plans to provide support to both staff and students and will relay those plans as soon as possible. We will also share information on services, donations, or other ways to support the family as this information becomes available.

There are no perfect words for times like this. However, we will continue to honor Isaac's life in the way we support one another, remember him , and carry his spirit forward. Our hearts are with Isaac’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There are only 48 days until the first day of school! Make sure you've signed up for the Before and Afterschool program at HHES to reserve your spot!

HHES has available seats open in their 3 year old preschool program! The program runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and has two sessions- AM 8:30-11:00 and PM 12:30-3:00. Please email Lisa Duprey (ldubrey@mascenic.com) if you are interested!

We are looking for volunteers to serve on the Advisory Budget Committee (ABC) for the 25-26 school year budget process! Please see the flyer attached!

This week we have celebrated the senior class of 2025 !!! Wednesday was the senior breakfast, Thursday was Senior Awards, and tonight was the Baccalaureate! Thank you to parents and staff who helped organize these events; what a fabulous way to get our seniors ready for graduation!

Busy days in Mascenic!!! Two wonderful days of decent weather, great behavior, and minimal injuries at the HHES field days! Thank you staff and parents for making this possible!

Congrats to the BMS Baseball team for winning the tri-county championship! We are very proud! Go Bulldogs!

Tonight, the School Board recognized three staff members for their years of service to the district; Meg Tousley (31 years), Angela Johnson (18 years), and Laurie Olson (32 years). We appreciate their commitment and dedication and wish them all well on their next adventure!
