This addition to our Community Conversation was put together to address a need within our buildings; the language students are using in school are making others (staff and students) feel unsafe. We hope this helps explain the issue, it's implications, the ways that it can be addressed and ultimately, make our schools a safer place. In the new year, I will be visiting each school having a similar discussion with students.

It's been a busy few days at Mascenic!!!
On Saturday, the Senior class hosted the Penny Sale. The Junior class provided food and entertainment and the Seniors organized donations, door prizes and the raffle! This was a huge success for both classes!
Today, the Friends of Mascenic hosted their second annual Bazaar! Students at BMS and MRHS were able to purchase gifts/raffles for themselves and others!
The success of both events is largely in part to the donors and volunteers!!
Thank you to donors, volunteers, class advisors, and custodial staff!!!
Today, December 9th, 2024, we are canceling all afterschool activities; this includes all clubs, sports, the HHES Concert, and the School Board Meeting. The HHES Concert for those with last names A-K will be held on Wednesday, December 11th at 6PM. We hope the weather will cooperate tomorrow!

We would like to apologize for the poor quality of the audio message that was sent out yesterday concerning the two-hour delay. We have resolved the issue, and it should not be a problem moving forward. If you did not receive the notification, please don't hesitate to contact the school offices.

Ambulance services and police responded to a medical emergency at MRHS around 11:30AM. Administration implemented "clear hallway" protocol; thank you to students and staff for responding appropriately!
This was not a safety related emergency.
