Thank you to the Boynton PTSO for the wonderful gifts.

The band and chorus from tonight's BMS Winter Concert.

Today our custodians found the HHES heat between 50-60 degrees and a boiler down. Unfortunately we will have to close HHES today, December 15th for staff and students. We apologize for this inconvienance; it is not something we do lightly. We will provide an update to the community later today. Boynton and Mascenic are open.
Today marked the final day of our Community and Career Connections Week! We are so thankful for our amazing volunteer speakers who shared their stories, skills, and career paths. It has been an inspiring week for our 7th and 8th grade students. Can’t wait for next year!

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair for 5th-8th graders will take place at Boynton from Tuesday, December 16 to Friday, December 19.
Next Thursday, visit Sourdough Pizza between 4 and 8 PM. Ten percent of all sales will support the Boynton PTSO. After dinner, come to Mascenic High School for the Boynton Winter Concert, which begins at 6 PM. We hope you can join us.

A few more community speakers from today's sessions. We look forward to more sessions tomorrow.

Community and Career Connections at BMS
We are grateful to our community members who volunteered to speak with students.. By sharing their knowledge and experiences, they are helping our students better understand various career paths for their futures. More speakers still to come over the next few days!

We do not plan on canceling any evening activities tonight as the weather looks like it will hold off until 8:00pm. For those attending the MRHS Band and Chorus Concert at 6pm in the Mascenic auditorium should be especially careful when leaving the concert! Be safe!
HHES hosted special guests tonight!!! Mr. and Mrs. Claus!!!! In addition to the fun blowup winter friends and the festive lights, families could meet with Santa and then have cookies and cocoa on their way out! Thank you to the HHES PTA for making this community event a possibility!

Fifth-grade students attended a presentation from the Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum, where they learned about Native American cultures from across North America.

In eighth grade science, students presented and demonstrated how a prototype of a bio suit would function.

Mrs. Allen is looking for additional speakers for our Career Connections Week at Boynton Middle School the week of December 8th! Speakers can be parents, community members, buisness owners, etc. We are looking for people to share about their careers, their "pathway", the skills they need to be successful in their career, and any advice you would have to share with middle schoolers! Please use this link to sign up or email Mrs. Allen at tallen@mascenic.org.

Please take a look at this great opportunity for families in our community! This fundraiser benefits the 8th grade class!

We had a great turnout for the Veteran's Day Breakfast this morning and were treated to lively performances by Boynton's Band and Chorus students.

Please see the latest edition of the MRSD Newsletter! There was much to celebrate in October and much to look forward to this month!

MRHS- There is a second student medical emergency at MRHS and an ambulance has been called.
To assuage any concerns students, parents, staff and community members may have, the two medial incidences that occurred today were not drug related. We take student medical emergencies seriously and when we have concerns, first responders are called immediately.
