Dear Boynton Bulldog Families,
We are excited to welcome our students back to Boynton Middle School and look forward to a great start to the 2026–2027 school year!
5th Grade Families – PowerSchool Information
Tomorrow, when your 5th grade student arrives at school, they will receive an individual student packet to bring home. The packet will include directions for setting up and accessing your Parent/Family PowerSchool account. Please take a few minutes to review the information and complete the setup so you can access your child's schedule, grades, attendance, and other important student information.
Arrival Procedures – Grades 5–8
As a reminder, if you are dropping off or picking up your child:
7:30–7:40 AM: Please use the circle at the end of the lower parking lot for student drop-off.
After 7:40 AM: Please drop students off at the front of the building.
Dismissal – Slight Change for 2026–2027
There will be a slight change to our dismissal procedures:
2:15 PM: Students who are bus riders and parent/guardian pickups will be dismissed.
Two minutes later: Walkers and students participating in after-school sports or activities will be dismissed from their classrooms.
This change will help us create a smoother and safer dismissal process for all students.
Clarification Regarding Our Hat Policy
We also want to clarify the hat policy in the MRSD/Boynton Student-Parent Handbook. Students are permitted to wear hats inside the school building unless the hat becomes a distraction, presents a health-related concern, or is deemed inappropriate under our school dress code policy.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we begin a new school year. We are excited to welcome our students and look forward to helping every Boynton Bulldog have a successful start to the 2026–2027 school year!
Go Bulldogs!

As the weather improves, we are seeing more students riding e-bikes and bicycles to and from school. We would like to remind students and families about the importance of e-bike safety, particularly during busy arrival and dismissal times when buses, cars, students, and staff are all sharing the roadway and parking areas. Please take time to review safe riding practices with your child, including obeying traffic laws, riding responsibly around buses and vehicles, wearing helmets, and using caution in pick-up and drop-off areas. Families should also become familiar with e-bike classifications and state laws regarding speed, equipment, and where e-bikes may be operated. The safety of our students is our highest priority, and we appreciate your partnership in helping ensure that all students arrive to and leave from school safely each day. Thank you for your support with this important matter.

We experienced a technical issue this morning that impacted our NHSAS testing. As a result, we had to cancel testing for today. The issue has now been resolved, and we will be testing tomorrow. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate that students came prepared and ready to do their best today. It’s always a bit ironic how technology seems to act up right when you need it the most! Thank you for your understanding and support.

Goodafternoon BMS Families! We wanted to remind you that parents should not be dropping off students in the morning at our main entrance until AFTER 7:40AM as this causes issues with buses being delayed and unsafe circumstances for students. Please call the main office should you have any questions. Thank you!
