Email Blast 6.1.2021

Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day Weekend! One of my brothers served in the Marines and another just recently deployed with the Army. It’s always with mixed emotions that my family celebrates patriotic holidays; there is a level of gratefulness mixed with pride mixed with sadness at all that has passed in order for us to be here today.  Regardless, I hope you had fun with family and friends, celebrating the important things and paying tribute to those that made it possible.

As we enter the last stretch of this year I have mixed feelings; sad to see another chapter ending but excited that another is beginning!

Hydrate

Please make sure your student has a water bottle to fill throughout the day! We have given out all of our reusable water bottles and are running out of our disposable water bottles!

Summer Camps

We are trying to determine the level of interest in our proposed summer camps. Please email the facilitator of the club/camp if you are interested in your child participating by Friday, June 5th!

Community Garden (Gardening Camp)

Open to All Families

We are looking for families to help weed and pick vegetables that our Community Garden produces over the summer! We are asking that families who are interested sign up for a week. Families would be asked to weed/water once or twice that week and pick any of the vegetables that are ripe.

Mid June through August

Email Meg Tousley with dates you are interested in/willing to assist!
