This report is in accordance with New Hampshire RSA 189:76, which was enacted in August 2024 and became effective for the fiscal year budget cycle beginning in July of the following year. The statute requires school districts to actively disclose specific financial information related to educational spending and administrative compensation as part of the annual budget process.
The report includes graphs that show trends in average cost per pupil, average teacher salary and total administrator compensation over the last 10 years. All financial data presented in the graphs, per the RSA, has been adjusted for inflation.
In addition, this report includes a listing of the highest paid administrators in the district for the current school year. Per statute, this is actual compensation, not adjusted for inflation.
In accordance with the statute's requirements, this report must be publicly posted in multiple accessible locations at least 7 days, excluding Sundays and holidays, prior to any meeting at which the school district adopts a budget.
The data used in this report was primarily obtained from existing publicly available New Hampshire Department of Education reports.
Respectfully Submitted,
Rachel Anderson, Business Administrator
