Hello HHES Parents! We are still looking for a few more volunteers for the After School Program. We have extended the deadline to Tuesday, February 21st. You can email lguruge@mascenci.org. We like to be able to accommodate at least 150 students and can only cover 70 students at the moment. We'd appreciate your help. Thanks!
Hello PTA Parents, We will be doing a Spring Session of HEEP and are seeking volunteers. The information is contained on the sheet below. This form will also be going home with your student.
HEEP is back! For those new parents, HEEP is the Highbridge Hill Elementary Enrichment Program. We run the program twice a year – in the Fall and Spring. This session will only be five weeks however because of the Teacher’s Workshop on the Tuesday, March 14. We are seeking volunteers to run a club for the program. Each club can run once a week for one hour. This year we are able to provide a stipend of $30 per hourly session. Please return this form to school by February 17th. This program is for students in Grades 1 through 4.
The HEEP program will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at HHES from 3:30 to 4:30. It will run from March 21 through April 20th. If you are interested or need more information, feel free to contact the school at 878-4387 or email Mrs. Coquillette @ jcoquillette@mascenic.org or Mrs. Guruge @ lguruge@mascenic.org. You may also fill out the bottom and return to the school.
Additionally, as a reminder, all parents need to be fingerprinted. If you are not fingerprinted, the SAU now has the capabilities to do this for you. No need to go to the police station.
Reminder: The number of students we can accommodate is determined by the number of volunteers.
Some examples of clubs we have offered in the past are: dance, letterboxing, arts and crafts, science club, cooking, chess, physical activity, basketball, media, nature/exploration, gardening, math club, book club (with or without Kindles), drama, photography (school has cameras). We are open to any other suggestions or talent you may have and want to share with our students.
