Our 3rd graders recently wrapped up an exciting economics unit by becoming young entrepreneurs and running their very own businesses! Students designed and created products like rock pets, paper airplanes, jewelry, and “block buddies,” then showcased them at our 3rd Grade Market. Families were invited to come shop, making the experience feel just like a real marketplace. Throughout the process, students learned valuable lessons about supply and demand, pricing, budgeting, marketing, and the importance of customer service. It was incredible to see their creativity and confidence shine as they sold their products and managed their businesses!
