Each student in Mrs. Rowland's 1st Grade class interviewed a "Community Member" as part of the Community Helper project in first grade. Mrs. Rowland made contact with many community members for her students to "interview". Community members who participated were our local postman, bank manage, Principal, school nurse, Coach Bishop (in lieu of Patriot's coach Vrabel), Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Caravella, Daffodil's in Jaffrey, Brett Stauffeneker from Fade Away Hair, the Fire Chief, NI Police Officers, Susan Rolke, previous NASA employee and Animal Adventures Family Zoo, Monadnock Newspaper Reporter and several others. Some interviews were in person and some were phone conversations. Thanks to all who were kind enough to share their time with our students!
