MRHS Homecoming

UPDATE:

Mascenic Homecoming weekend was a huge success along with the fall like weather making it  perfection!

Mascenic Cross Country Boys and Girls kicked off the events on Friday both coming in second place! Trinity Boys and Hopkinton Girls took first place.

Both JV and Varsity Girls Volleyball won in three straight sets, 3-0 over Conant!

The Bonfire on Friday night for the student body built memories of an unforgettable Homecoming weekend!

On Saturday The Viking 5K had 143 runners participate this year and was won by alumni Landen Vaillancourt in a course record of 15 minutes, 41 seconds.  Naomi Traffie won for the women.

The Mascenic Staff won "Most Athletic Staff" over Highbridge Hill & Boynton. The last time that happened was 9 years ago!!!

The Seniors won the float parade contest with Candyland while the Juniors came in a close second with Clue, behind by only one point; Sophomores came in third and Freshman 4th.

Mascenic Band/Chorus were a wonderful addition to our festivities! Chorus sang the National Anthem at our games and 5K and the Band lead our float parade!   It was such a breath of fresh air to see them back in action performing in front of our community!

600 Chicken dinners were sold and were delicious!

Varsity Field Hockey kicked off there game with the Brown Memorial Field Dedication Ceremony  in loving memory of our very own Mascenic staff member Gretchen Brown.  The Field Hockey team went on to win there game 1-0 over Conant!

Varsity Soccer Boys won over Conant 2-1 in an exciting overtime game!

A lot of planning goes into Homecoming and we want to thank the Mascenic Athletic Booster Club; Steve Lennon; Mike Smith; Coaches; Advisors and all the volunteers that make this event so awesome for our students!
