We have a variety of community service projects occurring in November through December!
NHS, Student Council and our Foods and Nutrition class are hosting a Veteran’s Day Breakfast on November 9, 2023 from 9:00-10:00 for veteran community members and veterans that are friends/family of our students. Any students related to veterans that are attending are encouraged to join their family member/friend for breakfast and will be excused from class. Our Foods and Nutrition class will be preparing food for breakfast and NHS and Student Council will help serve and advertise.

In the past we have run a very successful Toys for Tots Drive that benefited the Marine Corp however, this year we will be running a similar drive but it will benefit families in our own community through St. Vincent DePaul. In order for our community to access these toys, we are collecting between November 6, 2023 and November 7th. We will run a friendly competition between grades where the winner will earn spirit points.
This drive will run at the end of December and will collect canned goods for St. Vincent Depaul. It will also be a friendly competition where grade levels can earn spirit points.
Amazon Gift Cards
This drive is specifically for staff. We will collect $10 to $25 gift cards to supplement families in need through the holiday season. This gift card drive will be run throughout the month of November and is open to all faculty. Amalia Traffie will be collecting gift cards.
Holiday Cards for Active Military
Students and staff will write holiday messages of goodwill and thanks to active duty military. These are written in November and will be send to a third party organization who sends them across the world to active military.
We are looking for donations of holiday cards! You can drop off cards in the main office!
